How do we start?
First - Decide if you want a Pre-Design Template, or if you want us to do a full custom design for you.
Pre-Designed Templates - These are already designed websites. You pick which one you want and we take care of adding all of your images and information to the website. This allows for a less expensive option, a speedier turn around time, and still allowing the site to be all yours without the work of doing it yourself. See More Here
Custom Design - The is where we start from a blank slate. This entails a bit of branding research so you can find what you want your website to feel like, as well as a predesign meeting so we can be sure we understand your vision from beginning to end. It allows us to fully customize your website to your business, and gives you a one-of-a-kind design that no one else has. This is a bit of a longer process than the PreFab sites, but definitely worth the wait! See More Here
After you’d made your decision for a custom or PreFab site, Get On My Schedule.
Once you are on my website design schedule, the fun begins!
I will send you my super simple workbook, which details every step you need to do to prepare for your website overhaul. Prefab websites will be ready within 2 weeks from your design start day - and that includes all of your changes. Custom Design Websites will be ready within 4 weeks from design start day.
Your work:
[this can take anywhere from 1-7 hours for Pre-Designs, and 1-2 weeks for Custom Design, depending on how much you already have done]
Get the pictures gathered for your site [naked websites don’t draw much attention].
Let me know what you want your website to say. Not a writer? No problem - I also offer copywriting services as an easy add on!
Create a ideal client avatar so I can speak directly to your clients in the design
Make yourself a satisfying cup of coffee or relaxing glass of wine
Communicate with me during the last week to make it perfect for you
My work:
Everything else!
Design starts after I have received all of your information. The first part of your design process, you won’t hear from me unless I have a particular question. I will be spending the time making pages, framing images, adding copy that draws your client, and making your work shine.
For Pre-Design sites: you will have one week of design, and the second week to make any changes to images or verbiage on the site.
For Custom Designs: the second half of the process, you will hear from me a lot. This is when we get together and shine and buff your website until it sparkles for your business. Your feedback during this week is extremely important, as by the end, the website will be handed off to you, with a detailed coaching session of how to update your website, should it ever be needed.
